Diagnostic Examinations & Assessments

At Feet First Clinic we use advanced diagnostic tools to evaluate foot problems, Biomechanical issues and Wound Assessment:

  • • Biomechanics Studies - PodiaScan & Gait Analysis:
     A computerized foot pressure mapping and analyzing walking patterns with Static, dynamic and postural analysis to identify high-pressure points, weight distribution, arch disorders and biomechanical irregularities or "walking style" abnormalities
  • • Foot Sensation Tests:
     Checking for neuropathy or loss of sensations.
  • • Vasculopathy Assessments:
     Measurement of Foot Blood Flow
  • • Wound Assessments:
     o TCPO2 for measurement of oxygen level at wound sites
     o Illuminate technology to assess infection levels.
     o Thermal Imaging for rapid assessment of wound temperature, to help distinguish between  healthy, healing tissue and compromised, inflamed tissue.
